Welcome to Dogg and Trickykids app's page
Maybe this aint where you wanna be, so if your after women,
games, music or somethin' like that, go back to our index
Ok, first up on our list, is the how to make a homepage section:
We feel that for most beginnners, it is easier if you make your pages
with a WYSIWYG editor (What you see is what you get), as you do not need
no know any HTML Code. Most nowadays support full drag and drop, so you
derro's can just say "stick picture here" instead of writing 50
lines of code!
One of the best WYSIWYG editors, and my personal favourite is Adobe Pagemill 2.0, and it is availabe freeware
at present, so get in quick. Another great editor, although it is no longer
available off the net, is Microsoft
Frontpage 97. Voted #1, it is supposed to be great, but you will have
to pay up!
If you want to go all out and learn the code we recommend you get high
quality editor like Luckman's Webedit
Pro 2.0, or maybe Hotdog
3.
Now, you can go round the net stealing backgrounds off people's pages,
or you can make them yourself. For that, you will need a program such as
Paint Shop Pro, it is likely that you
will need this anyway as it allows you to convert your images to GIF's and
JPEG's.
Unless your ISP has provided you with an upload program, you may need
an ftp application, we recommend cuteftp, which you will be able to find
by searching the web.
With these programs intalled on your computer, you are ready to make
your very own, cheap homepage.
